Join the Digital Revolution: Provide Logistic Support for PITP-II IT Training

The Science & Information Technology Department, Government of Sindh, in partnership with Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, has launched the People’s Information Technology Programme (PITP-II). The initiative aims to empower youth through digital literacy and IT skills development.

MUET is now inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified institutions and organizations to provide classroom and logistic facilities for IT training programs across multiple districts in the Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas divisions.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a transformative digital initiative that equips young people with skills for the modern job market.


Districts Covered Under PITP-II

The IT training program will be conducted in the following districts:

Hyderabad Division:

  • Hyderabad (Qasimabad, Latifabad, Autobahn)
  • Dadu
  • Badin
  • Thatta
  • Tando Muhammad Khan
  • Tando Allahyar
  • Sujawal
  • Hala

Mirpurkhas Division:

  • Mirpurkhas
  • Umerkot

By covering these regions, PITP-II ensures that youth from diverse locations can access high-quality IT education.


Facilities and Support Required

Interested institutions must meet the following requirements:

Computer Lab & Infrastructure

  • A minimum of 35 fully functional computers
  • Dedicated computer lab or classroom setup

Internet and Power Backup

  • High-speed internet connection
  • Multimedia equipment for instruction
  • Uninterrupted power backup facilities

Basic Amenities

  • Clean toilets and drinking water
  • Security services
  • Accessibility features
  • Adequate parking space

Operational Capacity

  • Ability to host at least 50 students per batch
  • Full support for a 2-month training cycle
  • On-ground support for trainers, including IT and administrative assistance

Important Guidelines for Applicants

  • MUET will conduct physical verification of facilities before final selection.
  • Institutions with larger capacities and better facilities will be preferred.
  • Selected providers must commit to the entire 2-month training period—mid-cycle withdrawal is not permitted.
  • MUET reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal without prior notice.
  • Only shortlisted institutions will be contacted.

  1. Download the EOI form from the official portal:

  2. Complete the form and attach all required documents.
